Auburn Police have arrested four people, one adult and three juveniles, in connection with a home burglary.

Authorities arrested Carissa Williams on third degree burglary and second degree property theft charges. Police say Williams, 21, along with a 16-year-old female and two 17-year-old males, were arrested on felony warrants. All are reportedly from Auburn.

The arrests come after Auburn Police responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence in the 1900 block of Overlook Court. Police say the suspects were carrying televisions out of the home and loading them into a vehicle, after which they drove away.

A while later, officers conducted a traffic stop, where they were able to take three of the four suspects into custody. Another officer found the fourth suspect and took him into custody.

Authorities say the value of property taken from the home is appropriately $1,200. Police were able to recover the TV’s, which were located inside the vehicle.

Auburn Police say this is an ongoing investigation and more arrests could come soon.

The three juveniles were taken to the Lee County Youth development center and will have a detention hearing. Williams was transported to Lee County Jail, where she is being held on $6,000 bond.
