The Northern Major and Senior softball teams won again Monday at the state tournament at Pioneer Little League.
The Majors won a walk-off thriller, 2-1. After two hits opened the bottom of the sixth, Maggie Mock bunted. When the throw got past the first baseman, Karlee Fuller raced home to score the game-winning run.
They move on to play again Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m.
The Seniors had an easier time, rolling over West Point, 19-3. They also play Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m.
On the minor level, Northern was not so lucky. They fell to Hart County, 4-2, but are still alive in the double-elimination tournament.
