CSU launches new radio station WCUG 88.5

WCUG 88.5 Cougar Radio launched Wednesday.

Columbus radio listeners now have a new option on their dials.

WCUG 88.5 Cougar Radio went on the air Wednesday, sending signals live from the station’s new studios. The new studios are located at the Columbus State University Non-Profit and Civic Engagement, or NPACE, center in Uptown.

The station is the culmination of a partnership between CSU and News 3’s radio partners, PMB Broadcasting. The station plans to add more programming as it moves toward the start of the fall semester with the addition of local news, talk, music and coverage of CSU athletics.
