Toronto mayor’s television show canceled after one day

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's television show was canceled Tuesday one day after it debuted.

He and his brother hosted “Ford Nation” on Canada's Sun News network.

The network's president said the show “beat our record of 100,000 viewers” but, was not viable because of the time and production needed to produce it.

Ford has been in the news after admitting to smoking crack cocaine.

On Monday, the Toronto city council voted to cut the mayor's budget and transfer most of his duties to the deputy mayor.
